Wireless Bridge Solutions

Wireless networking has long been dismissed as being an unreliable form of data transmission that is prone to fail in adverse weather conditions or can’t be perceived as a safe way to transmit sensitive data. In recent years, however, this has changed and wireless transmission has become of one of the most flexible and efficient ways for people to transfer their data.

Traditionally 2.4GHz has always been used for wireless transmission and consequently, that part of the spectrum is now pretty congested but with the advent of the 5GHz spectrum that has changed. This means that traffic now has a less troubled road to travel with fewer potential hazards and is therefore more likely to reach it’s destination on time and in tact.

Wireless is no more susceptible to unauthorised intrusion than any other device, the key word being ……..’unauthorised’. Wireless uses WPA2 encryption, which is only as good as the password you assign to it, i.e. if your company is called Wilsons Ltd and you use the password WILSON, you may have unwanted visitors on your network. However if you use rIP276As9, you are likely to stay intruder free. It’s about the management (which is very simple with the web based interface).

What Next ?

  1. Give us a call or drop us an email with a description of what your requirements are. If the buildings are far enough apart to have separate postcodes, let us know what they are and we can then do a virtual check to see whether it may be possible to establish link.
  2. If in theory it sounds possible, then we will come out and perform a physical visit to see where the antenna could be fitted and where the cables can be installed to connect to your network. We don’t charge for this survey.
  3. Once we have all the information, we will then send you a quote detailing what we will be doing and at what price.
  4. When you are happy to proceed, we will ask you for the IP addresses that you wish to use for the antennas, we will configure them, drive them to your site and install and test them.

There is no catch.

These units really can be supplied and fitted from as little as £750.00 (exc VAT), we’ve already done it…………………several times !

  • No ongoing costs
  • No licensing
  • Supports any IP application such as data, VoIP, CCTV, BMS and Video.
  • Could provide a resilient path for existing links.
  • Could provide an alternative path for congested traffic routes.
  • Suitable to install over challenging terrain, such as rivers or roads.
